Hello! Start of a new year… what does this mean Hello! Start of a new year… what does this mean for you? I spend too much time contemplating how I’m feeling pressured to plan, to declare what I want to achieve, which in itself brings immediate negativity… not a good start! I’ve started to see challenges and ‘best of’ pop up on feeds, and while I’d love to join in, it would be going against my inner feelings. So my only thought for the new year is to listen more to my inner self ( it feels good to share this) I love having you here with me on this journey, and I thank you for letting me be me ☺️ I’m slowly learning it’s ok to be yourself. So here is me! For those that know, know I love a cocktail and this festive period did not let me down! I’ve been lucky enough to have the festive period off work work, which has allowed me to indulge. I’m currently sat in my shed, my creative space, where I’m making notes, scribbles of thoughts, some creative and some essential admin, call it a bit of a brain dump! For me this is a good place. Finally! A festive snowball 🍸 Having been str Finally! A festive snowball 🍸 Having been struck down with a sinus infection that has pretty much consumed all of December I’m starting to feel more human. There’s some cocktail catching up to be done! I’m taking a moment to think about where has this year gone, anyone else feeing like they blinked and missed it… which for certain parts of it, isn’t a bad thing. I decided earlier in the year (for a number of reasons) that my social media and event presence most likely wouldn’t be what it has been in the past. And as soon as I acknowledged this, my anxiety for such pressures eased. All that said, lemonybird is still very much a part of me, and an important part too. It’s my creative outlet, it’s sharing my thoughts and ideas and it’s connecting with you. Without you I couldn’t do this, so thank you for letting me be me and for supporting my little business. To those other small businesses that support me, thanks to you too, I don’t get to see you often but when I do I love it! I want to wish each and everyone of you a fun filled healthy Christmas. I hope Santa brings you everything you wish for! Who knows what next year will bring, but I will still be bringing you a little bit of lemonybird throughout the year, that’s for sure ☺️ I often say my designs are influenced by things I see, things I do and things I enjoy…here’s proof!!
